Social News in 1000 Steps – Step 5

Twitter is a (still) popular social media site. We can find relevant information by following informative accounts or by searching Twitter. Today I demonstrate how to search Twitter with NLTK (uses Twython). I am assuming that you know how Twitter works. The goal is to be able to recommend tweets to interested users, who are familiar with the platform, while retaining most if not all functionality of Twitter, such as following users, retweeting, favoriting etc. I didn’t come round to that part though as it is WIP.
